AKW LAW Welcomes Senior Attorney Danielle Kim

Danielle Kim joined AKW LAW as the firm's newest Senior Attorney in November 2025. Before joining the firm, she worked in Big Law at a nation-wide law firm, where she gained significant experience handling complex employment matters.
She brings a wealth of experience in having represented both employees and employers, giving her an insider's understanding of how corporations assess risk, make decisions, and litigate employment disputes. Danielle represents clients in a broad range of employment-related matters, including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and class actions. She is committed to protecting workers' rights and providing thoughtful, results-driven advocacy at every stage of litigation.
Danielle previously served as an Adjunct Professor with the Workers' Rights Clinic at Seattle University School of Law. She served as a board member of the Asian Bar Association of Washington and enjoys mentoring law students in employment and labor advocacy.
Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her family.
