AKW Law congratulates Ada K. Wong for being named Dean of the Keenan Trial Institute. She is the second Dean named since its inception. The Keenan Trial Institute is a teaching and workshop style institution for plaintiff’s attorneys founded by Don Keenan. The purpose of the institution is to instruct lawyers in all aspects of the plaintiff’s case, from intake through trial. The systems taught are solidly based upon black letter law, focus group-tested results, and trial-tested experience. There are no tricks or shortcuts, but instead hard work and support.
Founder Don Keenan began developing these methods in 2009. KTI has nearly 6,000 students nationwide. Dean Wong oversees all aspects of the Institute, including working with faculty on over 24 different courses. She was also awarded with the 2022 KTI Faculty Member of the Year. The Institute’s mission is: “Giving Trial Lawyers the System they deserve to win, to protect our community safety, and deter wrongdoers by holding them accountable.” The motto is Amat Victoria Curam, which translates to: “Victory loves preparation!”
